You do not have to use the Quick Starts in any order. Each subsequent one simply utilizes additional Linxter API methods, properties and events than the previous.
For Quick Starts 1 through 3, communication channel requests are made manually through Web Manager.

- You can send a message to a single recipient or use Broadcast which sends the message to all program instances you have a communication channel with.
